PowerPlay is ideal for transcribing:
Law Enforcement video interviews on DVD Streaming MP3, WMA, and Voice from the Web, Courtroom Hearings and Proceeding, Video Time Coding City Council Meetings etc.
The Start Stop PowerPlay also includes advanced ergonomic features such as the Start Stop Job Manager that allows you to easily organize and archive jobs, bookmark and label sections of video, automatically time-stamp a video or audio source, and of course the variable speed and variable backspace functions to suit user preference.
New Video Thumbnail Feature inserts an actual screen shot of your video along with the time stamp, into your MS Word or Wordperfect word processor. Typewritten transcripts can then be easily scanned visually using the pictures.
Powerplay is designed to allow you to play, rewind, fast forward, and even change the play speed of digital video without needing to move your attention from your word processor.
New Smart Line Counter lets you keep track of how many characters, and lines, you've typed.

The timers show time remaining and time viewed

Customize the Step Amount to suit your preferences. Jump forward or backward one, five, or twenty seconds.

Animated Foot Pedals shows you when a pedal is being activated. It lets you know that your pedal is working correctly.

Start Stop Play also allows for typical mouse button operation.

The PowerPlay video screen will always play videos at any aspect ratio or resolution that the video supports. The video screen is independent of the power play controls
