The newly engineered SME-TP3CX Cellular Telephone Recording Interface incorporates special circuitry with R.F. Filtering to attenuate interference when recording from cell phones. The unit answers problems that occur with standard telephone pickups. The new SME-TP3CX manufactured exclusively by Saul Mineroff Electronics, Inc. allows the user to record from cellular and standard phones. Simply place the SME-TP3CX in you ear like a common earphone

New Features:

• Special Circuitry with R.F. Filtering to attenuate interference when recording from cell phones
• Allows low level telephone conversations to be recorded

Recording the telephone call:

• Insert the plug of the telephone pickup in the phantom powered microphone jack of the recorder
• Place the foam ear pad of the SME-TP3CX in the ear and apply the receiver over the SME-TP3CX.
• Set the tape recorder in the record position. The voices of the caller and called person will be recorded.

The SME-TP3CX is characterized by the silver and black label on the earpiece.

SME VRA CONVERTERS FOR MARANTZ DIGITAL RECORDERS

SME-VRA converters were created so agencies can adapt their existing SME microphones and Cellular Telephone Pick Ups (SME-TP3CX) to be used with the PMD660 recorder which has 48v Phantom powering. This adaptor which is specially designed and manufactured by SME reduces the voltage output of the recorder to the microphone and adds a hi-gain microphone preamplifer. The SME microphones securely connect into the adaptors which lock into the recorder.
