Unlike many plastic tape copiers, the SME-310 has a virtually indestructible steel outer case. This unit is a 1/4 track, 4-channel, stereo duplicator that produces one copy from a cassette master at 30 ips. or 76 cm/s (16 times normal recording speed). This unit has One Button Operation. By pressing the Copy button, it rewinds the master and copy tape, starts the duplication process, and rewinds both tapes at the end of duplication.

T-coreTM stereo heads, Ferrite erase heads, auto or manual operation, and switching power supply from 110V/220V 50/60Hz. Also, this unit is all steel construction with a removable power cord, and comes with a protective dust cover.
